Hello! I'm Sochikayima Mbaneme, a Grade 10 student with a dream to study Medicine at the University of Oxford and specialize in pediatric care.
My passion for medicine ignited in the 8th grade. I became fascinated with the human body's intricate systems, spending hours watching TED-Ed videos and marveling at the purposeful harmony of our organs. The idea of dedicating my life to healing, especially helping children, is a calling I am deeply committed to.
Parallel to my love for science is my passion for writing. I have always been captivated by novels—the art of world-building, character development, and the emotional journeys that stories can take you on. To me, medicine and writing are two sides of the same coin; both require empathy, careful observation, and a desire to connect with and understand the human experience.
